Learn how to join a community and get started with the HeiaHeia Pro version and how to upgrade from an existing free version account to Pro version.
Your employer or organization has purchased HeiaHeia for workplaces and invited you to join the HeiaHeia community of the company or organization. Take advantage of this opportunity! There are several different ways to join.
Joining and opening an account is easy and free!
New users:

You are invited by email
- Open the invitation -> continue -> accept the invitation.
- Continue by downloading the app from Apple Store or Google Play and creating an account.
- Find more information about creating an account here. In articles for HeiaHeia free version you will find more information about the basic functionalities of HeiaHeia.
- If your employer/organization has created a team race challenge, you will automatically join your team when accepting the email invitation.

2. You receive a sign up code from your employer or organization.
- Install the app for iOS in Apple App Store or for Android in Google Play Store. Open the app -> tap on Sign up -> enter the sign up code -> Continue

- If you are asked to join a team, please ask your employer or organization in which team you should join.

Joining a company community with an existing account
If you already have an account and you get an invitation or code to join a community, you can upgrade from the free version to HeiaHeia Pro. As a pro version user you will get access to many interesting new functionalities!
1. Join with a code:
Open the app and tap on the Friends symbol in the bottom menu -> Join with a code -> enter the sign up code -> Continue
If you are asked to join a team, please ask your employer or organization in which team you should join. Rewarding programs are enabled by default, so you will participate in challenges organised by your employer.
2. Join by an e-mail invitation:
If you received an e-mail invitation, just open the invitation -> continue -> accept the invitation.
Note! If you receive the invitation to a different email address than the one you used for the free version, by accepting the invitation, you will create another account for yourself at the other address. Read here for instructions on how to proceed to add another email address to an existing user account.
If teams have been set up in your community, the email invitation will automatically direct you to your team. Rewarding programs are enabled by default, so you will participate in challenges organised by your employer.
